In the first photo the light source is mini red Christmas lights. The second picture is mini multi colored Christmas lights. And the last picture is a blue finger light. The first picture was created by swinging mini red Christmas lights while spinning. The shutter speed of the camera was on a slow shutter speed to capture all of the movement of the light. While looking at the photo the viewer feels that the image has a chaotic flow to it.

Reflection
Reflection for the first black and white photo. The shutter speed used to purposely used to blur the photo was 1/60. The settings used were 1/6o shutter speed and the white balance was set for a sunny day. The part of the photo that shows blur and motion is the hair, writing on the sweatshirt, and the face and bodies in general. The distance the photo was taken at was moderately close but far away enough to give space for the people to spin. The picture has shape and texture that help strengthen the photo. Reflection for the third black and white photo. The shutter speed used in the photo was 1/300 and the white balance was set for a sunny day. The action that is frozen is jumping off of a bench outside. The distance the photo was taken from was about ten feet away from the photo subject. The point of view is just about heads on directly equal to the subject. The photo was strengthened by the positive and negative space being creative.
Depth of Field
In school
In Studio
Outside of School
Reflection
Shallow depth of field, the fireman and the shell photo. The f stop used to create the shallow depth of field was f/22. For white balance, the camera was set on fluorescent because the picture was taken inside in the studio. The ISO was set on manual. This was not taken on a point and shoot camera. Large depth of field, the first wind ups toys. This picture was taken with the f stop set in f/4. The white balance was the same as the fireman photo and was set on fluorescent. This was another picture taken inside in the studio. The Iso was also set on manual for this picture. This picture was not taken on a point and shoot camera either. The same camera was used as the firman picture. The picture I believe is better is the shallow depth of field picture of the fireman and the shell. It looks better to me because the blur helps bring your focus onto the shell in the background. While in the other picture there is no specific spot to focus on. A shallow depth of field would best be used to show space in a photo. A large depth of field would best be used when all objects are equal distance from the camera, or when you want to focus on every detail.
Shadow and Reflection
Reflection of the Black and White Window
First off, this picture qualifies as both shadow and reflection. The photo was taken in my front yard, facing my parents' bedroom window. The reflections in the window are of the trees in the front yard and across the street as well as some telephone poles and wires. The shadow was created by a single giant tree in my front yard that has no leaves on it so the branches create interesting positive and negative space. The picture does not include what is being reflected or what is creating the shadow. The photo was taken around 2:30 in the afternoon, and the sun was directly behind the tree. The positive and negative space created breaks the picture up into interesting pieces and give it a mysterious look. Pattern and texture are also present in the photo. The bush in front of the window provides texture and the shutters create pattern as well as the double window does. The photo is very visually interesting to me because its so simple but shows so much within it. The shadow and reflection give it a mysterious yet quiet look.
